Frank,
it's quite hot over here in Germany as well at the moment, around 90 degrees
or so. Yesterday when I rode to work and back home in the afternoon heat I was
amazed how good the bike ran. I always expect problems when hot after having read
all the problems mentioned in the forum about this, but none of these things
have happened to me so far. The bike runs great if hot or cold.
However, it's not as humid over here as it is in the States, that might have
something to do with it. Also it could be problems due to the white spacer removal.
I've been thinking of doing the same, but when reading this I probabaly revise my
decision. After all it really sounds like carburator problems you describe.
Concerning the engine, my bike is still the way I got it, no customising here and she
runs great.
I suggest to check the carburator, all fuel hoses, the gas tank for dirt inside and the
air filter.
Hope you find someting and keep enjoying a ride in hot weather,
Alfred
